Brevo pricing and review

Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) charges by emails sent rather than contacts stored, which inverts the economics of every other provider here. If you hold a large list and mail it rarely, nothing else comes close. If you mail a small list constantly, it is one of the more expensive options. It also bundles SMS, a real CRM and transactional sending.

Scores

These are our opinions, each with the reasoning underneath it. They never reorder the calculator. That is ranked on price alone.

Automation

7.5/10

Full visual workflow builder with branching, scoring, and website-event triggers. Covers ecommerce flows and cart recovery. Free plan is limited to a small contact ceiling on automation, which is the usual upgrade trigger.

Ease of use

7.0/10

More surface area than MailerLite and it shows: the interface spans marketing, transactional, CRM, chat and SMS, and finding the right screen takes longer. The editor itself is solid.

Deliverability

7.5/10

Operates its own sending infrastructure with shared and dedicated IP options, SPF, DKIM and DMARC support, and a separate transactional pipeline so marketing volume does not sit on the same reputation as receipts. Score reflects infrastructure and IP options, not a measured inbox rate.

Support

7.0/10

Email support on all plans including free, live chat from the mid tier, and phone support on Enterprise. Response times are adequate rather than fast.

Strengths and weaknesses

What it does well

  • Unlimited contacts on every plan: you pay for sends, not list size
  • Native SMS and WhatsApp alongside email
  • Includes a genuine CRM with deals and pipelines
  • Transactional email on the same account as marketing

Where it falls short

  • Expensive if you mail a small list frequently
  • Daily send cap on the free plan constrains real use
  • Interface sprawls across five product areas
  • Template library is weaker than MailerLite or Omnisend

Integrations and support

Notable integrations

  • Shopify
  • WooCommerce
  • WordPress
  • Zapier
  • Make
  • Salesforce
  • Stripe

Support channels

  • email
  • live chat
  • phone

Email support on all plans including free, live chat from the mid tier, and phone support on Enterprise. Response times are adequate rather than fast.
